Among the innovations displayed at EIMA International 2024, the E/P rotary tiller machine deserves special mention. It is conceived and designed to operate in extreme conditions, such as completely flooded rice paddy fields.
Originally, it was developed for the South Korean market with the aim of answering to a rather specific need of the operators in that country; they have testified to its effectiveness, which depends on some unique technical features.

Features and technology
The heart of this rotary tiller is a system patented by Celli that combines the use of high-yield strength steel types that make it extremely light, geometries that allow for a very low weight/volume ratio, and a single-speed gearbox that allows for adequate management of the rotor rotation speed.
The double flange with interface system is a key element in this balancing, thanks to which the E/P can accommodate rotors of different sizes and geometries, replacing them easily and thus adapting the machine to different types of work and soil conditions.
The precious balancing work described above allows the machine to float without sinking during tilling, making it suitable for working in the most extreme conditions.
Rice fields and more
After several tests in the rice fields of Pavia and some technical adjustments, it was possible to adapt the E/P to work effectively also on Italian soil. The new version seen at EIMA is also suitable for other crops and kinds of soil as a rotary tiller with roller or skids on light and sandy soil (greenhouse work, horticulture, etc.). Thanks to its flexibility and engineering features, the E/P rotary tiller can respond to different challenges, maintaining high standards of efficiency.
